WRVAG's artists consist of the finest talents in Fremont County and beyond. Our artists contribute to Wyoming's long tradition of preserving and sharing western culture with other regions of the United States as well as bringing other arts to Wyomingites.
We welcome you here to enjoy our artists and their artworks in digital form.
Outside special circumstances, we're unfortunately unable to ship: Living in remote Dubois, Wyoming poses challenges we work around as best we can, and this shipping limitation is one we're working on. We appreciate your understanding.
Debra Williams
Debra Williams is a Chickasaw artist who does everything under the sun and then some. Debra crafts according to Chickasaw tradition and enjoys interpreting her heritage in line with her own life experiences.
Debra has given historical lectures on Chickasaw beadwork and woodcarving, and she's an active participant in her community. Debra is always ready to lend a hand to a good cause.
Debra's wood carvings sell for $50 per piece, and her earrings range in price from $40 to $70. She also sells carved gnomes for $30 each and beaded ID holders for $50 each.
Frontier Buckaroo
"Frontier Buckaroo" specializes in research and restoration of historical photographs, particularly those relating to the American West. These photographs (and the stories behind them, each recounted in an accompanying vignette) allow us to see the United States as it was earlier in its life. Seeing these people and places and reading about their histories, it's difficult not to see the unfolding of a national narrative defined by earnestness, tragedy, and naivete that's still unfolding today.

Cindy Moore is an award-winning competition artist who's exhibited, competed, and advocated for the arts in more than three states. Cindy takes an active role in Dubois' arts scene, and she's popular around town for organizing the painting of multiple murals.

Linda Gordon
Linda Gordon is a multimedia artist whose interests include painting, drafting, photographing, etching, scavenging, repurposing, video editing, audio engineering, and a lot more. If it can be created, Linda has created it or will create it soon. Linda also works as a photographer-for-hire!
In addition to larger artworks, Linda sells cards which cost between $5 and $10. Worth noting is some of these cards are original, unique, hand-painted watercolors: Linda sells these for $5 and $10, too.
Paula McCormick
Paula McCormick is a Wyoming institution and avid globetrotter. Paula has worked in and around Wyoming nonprofits and tourism for most of her life, and she launched her career in the arts in 2021 with her founding McCormick ArtWorks. Paula works primarily in encaustic wax, a medium that blends ephemera/marginalia archiving and multimedia collaging, and her artwork earned itself a spot in the Encaustic Art Institute & Museum of New Mexico. Paula has exhibited her artwork across the United States and Canada.

Stephen Lunsford
Stephen Lunsford is a master photographer based in Dubois, Wyoming. Stephen has worked as a commercial photographer, and he's also worked as a wildlands photographer for Wyoming nonprofits such as the Jackson Hole Land Trust. Stephen's photography focuses primarily on western landscapes and culture.
Stephen sells soft-cover and hard-cover photography books for $35 and $40, respectively; he sells chapbooks for $20 each; he sells photography card packs for $24 each; and he sells individual cards for $3.75 each.
Kevin Pugel
Kevin Pugel is a young Wyoming woodworker and a supporter of the arts in Dubois. Kevin's artwork blends the artistic and the practical and has proven popular with tourists thanks to the rustic nature of his craft.
At present, Kevin sells wooden coat hangers styled after the Tetons and Ramshorn Peak for between $100 and $120 depending on size. These hangers are burned, oiled, stained, and finished.

Mary McAleenan believes in art for everyone: For this reason, Mary prices her artwork affordably and volunteers her time and talent with local schools. Mary's mediums include oils, beadwork, jewelrycrafting, and more.

Pat Wilson is a Wyoming native and talented watercolorist. With decades of experience, Pat focuses on western landscapes and wildlife.

I'm WRVAG's director, and I'm a writer who loves horror. I remember sitting in school libraries as a kid and reading about ghosts, cryptids, witches, vampires, and all other manner of creepy this-and-that, and none of it "scared" me, exactly--rather, the mysteries made me curious about our world, and, so far, the strange nature of our lives has kept me curious.
